📌 Position Details
Job Title: Branch Manager (AVP)
Reporting To: Regional Head
Place of Posting: Karachi
Employment Type: Contractual (initially for 3 years, renewable based on performance)
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Educational / Professional Qualification:
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC)
- Master’s Degree holders from HEC-recognized institutions will be preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in branch banking
- At least 2 years as Branch Operations Manager or Relationship Manager in a similar role
- Female candidates on career breaks (not exceeding 3 years) are strongly encouraged to apply

- Strong understanding of branch banking & operations
- Complete product knowledge
- Understanding of compliance regulations (e.g., AML-CFT, SBP PRs)
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal, team-building, and leadership capabilities
- Ability to communicate technical and business ideas clearly
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and goal-driven mindset
- Sound decision-making and ability to manage multiple tasks
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall branch operations, including retail, liability, and wealth management (Conventional & Aitemaad)
- Achieve sales and service targets/KPIs as per business plan
- Develop new business and meet with Existing to Bank (ETB) and New to Bank (NTB) clients
- Monitor customer satisfaction, handle feedback, and ensure top-tier service delivery
- Execute branch-level business strategies aligned with the regional/group goals
- Generate core deposits, manage customer attrition, and maintain portfolio stability
- Innovate and implement cost-saving strategies to improve profitability
- Conduct performance evaluations, staff coaching, and business reviews
- Maintain robust internal controls, detect frauds, and handle operational health checks
- Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, Shariah (for Islamic branches), SOPs, and banking regulations
- Support product launches, marketing campaigns, and administrative affairs
- Maintain accurate records and oversee recruitment, succession, and resource planning
- Take on additional tasks assigned by the supervisor
